On top of our sports we have been getting ready for summer, out in the yard cleaning it up, getting ready to do some planting and figuring out where each yard toy belongs. The weather is finally nice so we are trying to get the kids outside as much as possible. Irelynn has no fear of the grass like her brother did and loves it so much she often tries to eat it. Now that she is mobile it means that we have to watch her very closely. It amazing (yet again) how much your life changes when your baby starts to move, and when they do start they move so fast.
On the weekend it go up in the high 20's so we cleaned up the little pool, put some warm and cold water in and lets the kids go in. Irelynn lasted much longer then Ky and LOVED it. She had a ball! It was so cute to watch her splash and be adventurous in the pool! The kids always play so well together and you can see in some of the pics just how much they adore each other!
This past Friday our community center had their annual Knight of Celebration, because we are volunteers we got free tickets so we decided to go check it out. We had a great time, the meal was really tasty and then we took the kids on a horse ride, both really enjoyed it! We left for a bit and went back in time to check out the fireworks, which were awesome, for a community center it was a very impressive display! Irelynn had fallen asleep int he car on the way back so I stayed in the car with her while Ky & Todd went into the field to check it out!
How Ky managed to get ice cream on the brim of his hat is beyond me lol
The next two pictures are of the kids looking at each other
Well I make no promises but I will try to update soon! Our baseball team is going out on the field with the Goldeyes during the home opener game on Friday and Irelynn was 7 months yesterday so I will try to post some pics! Hard to believe 7 months has gone by. Its crazy. She has 8 teeth, she is on solids, has been pooping on the potty for a month and is sleeping a lot better at night (just the past few days as we seem to have a break from getting new teeth!).
